About the ministry...
Brother and Sister Check Ministries Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Christian ministry founded in 2022.
- We serve the greater Boone County community and surrounding counties.
- We have set out to empower people, through the Word of God, with a chance to break free from their bondage.
- We have a transition home for women.
- We provide Empowerment Outreach events in communities and in prisons to glorify God by reaching those who were lost in the stronghold of the world.
- We host great social activities, worship, testimonial events, life groups and mentoring for everyone.
- We have also become a place for those who are in need of many different resources.

Our Mission
We are a Christian outreach. It is our mission to enlighten, educate, and empower men and women who are trapped in the strongholds of the world. We are the hands and feet of Jesus.
We have set out to glorify God by reaching the lost.
Our Vision
To disciple and empower men and women through Gods Word, who have been lost in the strongholds of the world and to equip them to live a transformed life that glorified God.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Heather Vann
Founder/President
Heather Vann was in addiction from the age of 13 and was in and out of jails and institutions since the age of 18. She was saved and called out of darkness by God in 2017 from her addiction, depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts. In 2021 she created a program with life groups and events inspired by God to help others find their way out too.

1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”
